Career Transition Coaching that turns someday into today.
Eileen Zimmerman became a purpose and career transition coach because after 20 years in corporate, building a 7-figure consumer product brand, and negotiating a successful business sale, she understands that external success and internal alignment aren't the same thing. Life Monarch exists to help other women make that same leap, on purpose.
That voice in the back of your head always reminding you about that thing you’d just love to create “one day?”
Eileen wants to have a chat with it.
Eileen spent two decades in corporate tech, doing everything "right." Getting more degrees, earning more promotions, waiting for more bonuses. Basically, flitting from stepping stone to stepping stone that she thought would add up to a life she wanted.
After going through extreme burnout, she left to build something of her own: a consumer product business called Wander & Perch, that she grew past seven figures before selling it. She thought this successful business exit would feel fulfilling, but it wasn't. She still felt a persistent pull of something more aligned, from the same voice she’d spent years learning to ignore. That's when she realized: it was never about the job. It was about learning to listen to that inner voice to find her true purpose.
Life Monarch exists because Eileen knows firsthand what becomes possible the moment you stop running someone else's race. She helps women do what she had to learn the hard way: how to hear that voice clearly, trust it, and move forward on your own terms.

Step out of your chrysalis.

It’s time to transform.
• Step out of your chrysalis. • It’s time to transform.
A note from Eileen on the meaning behind ‘Life Monarch’
Growing up in California, Monarch Butterflies have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. In elementary school, I loved learning how these stunning creatures start as caterpillars, morph into a chrysalis to rest alone for a few weeks, and emerge as gorgeous orange-and-black butterflies. Monarch Butterflies migrate south each year to spend the winter in California. As a child, in addition to watching them float through my backyard in the summer, I remember visiting some of their nesting spots in Santa Cruz and Pismo Beach, in awe of the thousands of Monarchs clustered together in eucalyptus trees. I was fascinated by the way these seemingly worm-like insects could transform into something so elegant.
The way Monarch Butterflies repeatedly shed their skin as caterpillars and, through the process of metamorphosis, take on an entirely new form reminds me of how we too are constantly growing and evolving. Just because you’ve spent the first part of your life in a career you don’t enjoy doesn’t mean you are stuck working in misalignment forever. We all have the opportunity to turn inward and evaluate how we want the next part of our lives to look. The word “monarch” also implies royalty. You are the queen or king of your life. You have the power to decide what you want to do next. So, who are you meant to be?
All humans are unique. The Life Monarch process is built to embrace your uniqueness.
This is not a mandatory “16 step program,” so if that’s what you’re looking for, you might try Googling “how to make myself feel worse by being told I’m not hustling hard enough.”
This is a bespoke coaching engagement thoughtfully designed for each client, depending on their stage of readiness and goals. Meaning, if you know you want to launch a business tomorrow, Eileen’s got you. And if you’re still not sure exactly what you want to do next, but know that grinding for someone else’s dream isn’t working anymore, Eileen’s got you, too.
Eileen’s vision for a perfect world:
where success is defined by alignment, not just achievement.
